The 33rd Marine Diving Fair 2025 from April 4–6 in Tokyo
Miyakojima Churaumi Council to Exhibit!

Around Irabu Island & Shimoji Island: A hub of scenic geographical spots. One highlight: "Ichinose Hall"
The Miyakojima Churaumi Council will participate in the 33rd Marine Diving Fair 2025, held from April 4–6.
Located between Okinawa’s main island and Ishigaki, the Miyako Islands comprise eight islands, with Miyakojima as the central hub. Connected by bridges to Kurima, Ikema, and Irabu islands, Miyakojima is renowned for its breathtaking underwater landscapes.
The islands’ unique limestone base, formed by uplifted coral, creates stunning caves, arches, and crevices perfect for adventurous diving. The lack of mountains and rivers prevents sediment runoff, preserving the unmatched clarity of the turquoise waters known as “Miyako Blue.” Additionally, it boasts one of Japan’s largest coral reefs, making every dive a mesmerizing experience.
With popular tourist spots like Yonaha Maehama Beach, often called the most beautiful in the East, Miyakojima attracts divers and non-divers alike.
At the fair, local guides from the Miyakojima Churaumi Council will introduce hidden gems and must-visit spots. Discover the enchanting beauty of Miyakojima and plan your next dream vacation!
