Beatrix Buchbauer from Münsing, Germany shared her experience in Japan! 🙂

“The first time I visited Japan was in 2016. I took a break from working in a IT company for about 3 months. It was clear from the beginning that I want to travel the 3 months in Japan. That was my original plan, but I ended up staying about 6 weeks just in the Okinawa area, because I fell immediately in love with Ishigaki and the whole region.

I didn’t travel to Ishigaki as certificated scuba diver – I just did a lot of snorkeling in Europe, Caribbean Sea and Egypt before. But in my hostel, I saw some pictures of manta rays and I wanted to try scuba diving. I asked my hostel manager and he told me that the staff of Prime Scuba speaks good English and they have a good reputation. So, I asked them if I could start the Open Water certification there.”

“Staff of Prime Scuba were very kind and helpful, and I felt safe with them from the first minute. It was a pleasure to do the certification with Prime Scuba. The staff spoke good English and they explained everything and answered all the questions I had. The equipment was good and the boat comfortable. I was lucky and saw manta rays during my open water dives already. I did some additional fun dives afterwards, because I enjoyed it so much! ”
