The 33rd Marine Diving Fair 2025 from April 4–6 in Tokyo
Yakushima, the Island of Water, to Exhibit!

The wreckage of a Zero fighter plane lies submerged, surrounded by vibrant Tomato hinds.
Yakushima will participate in the 33rd Marine Diving Fair 2025, held from April 4–6!
Located in Kagoshima Prefecture, Yakushima became Japan’s first UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. The island, formed from granite, enjoys abundant rainfall, which keeps the waters crystal-clear and offers exceptional visibility for diving.
Covering around 90% of the island, its lush forests, including the famous Yakusugi (cedar trees over 1000 years old) and Jomon Sugi (estimated to be 2000 to 7200 years old), attract many visitors. Yakushima is also home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. With over 950 species of fish, it ranks among Japan’s top locations for marine biodiversity.
At the fair, visitors can hear firsthand about the island’s rich natural heritage and get the latest updates about Yakushima’s pristine beauty.
