Kushimoto, the southernmost town on Honshu, located in the southern part of the Kii Peninsula, is one of Japan’s world-renowned diving destinations. Heavily influenced by the Kuroshio Current, also known as the Japan Current and one of the world’s largest warm currents, the area is home to a rich variety of fish, with water temperatures remaining high even in autumn, excellent visibility, and a thriving fish population.

Autumn is also the perfect time to dive into Ando’s Nose, a limited-time spot that is only open for one month a year!

Don’t miss this special feature on Kushimoto, where local guides bring you the latest information on the area’s best diving season!
